I've been using this dual purpose step stool for children and adults for several weeks. Before writing this review, I deliberately set aside a month to ensure all functions worked properly, rather than jumping to conclusions. The stool features two tiered steps with a maximum weight capacity of 500 pounds (approximately 35 stone). Once assembled, the entire unit is quite heavy.My husband handled the assembly. When asked about putting together the flat pack components, he reported it went smoothly. All parts aligned precisely, though the wood showed slight warping a common occurrence with stored lumber.

I had to remove the four adjustable/leveling feet and attach the included self adhesive anti slip pads underneath the pedal frame to prevent tilting and sliding on the floor. After this modification, it's usable otherwise it's extremely unsafe!

This appears to be a sturdy folding stool with straightforward assembly. Working at a school, I needed a tool that allows easy access for adding or removing items. I did spray paint mine. The assembly process was straightforward, though some holes didn't align properly, forcing me to tug on the frame to tighten the screws. Plus, the holes behind the top step weren't aligned either.I probably won't buy this again. Not sure how long it'll last, since one of the welds looks a bit loose likely from pulling too hard while tightening the screws earlier.

The ladder itself is cleverly designed and adorable sorry I didn't take a photo, haha... But be extremely careful when using it! If you step too close to the edge on the top step, it will absolutely tip over! I bought the ladder to make climbing into bed easier, and while I don't regret it, the bruise on my leg is anything but cute.

These step stools look pretty good, with a wood grain finish on the metal frame. We bought them for the two doors of our transport vehicle, and they're much more comfortable to step on when getting in and out compared to the original single leg stools. The problem is they tip over easily if you step on them slightly off balance, the stool flips over with you and whatever you're carrying. Falling down while holding tools is no fun.

The steps are very small, as noted in the description, so this is a known fact. They are very sturdy, which is a plus. The only issue is that if someone weighing over 100 pounds steps near the edge, the entire ladder tilts forward or backward, which is dangerous.

I absolutely love this little stool! At 6 feet 3 inches tall (about 190 cm), I'm not exactly petite. Regular stools always feel a bit wobbly when I use them (plus I have huge feet), but this one is just perfect! Sturdy and durable, it even looks pretty in the kitchen!

Advantages: It can support larger adults and is compact enough to fit almost anywhere. Disadvantages: If the bottom legs are left attached, it will inevitably tip over unless the user steps precisely on the center of the step. Even slight misalignment when stepping up causes it to tilt. Without adding counterweight to the bottom, it will also tip over.

Assembly is a problem. What should be simple and easy to put together comes with an absurd number of parts and instructions.I'm no genius, but I consider myself reasonably sensible. If you can find a pre assembled version and you're not a professional assembler, consider spending a little extra for the ready made option. Don't just open that box of frames and bags of screws and dive right in.

This step stool assembles very easily, with all parts clearly labeled and pre drilled holes precisely aligned. The included tools are sufficient for assembly, but if you have a quality hex wrench set, we recommend using it. Once assembled, the lower section slides smoothly and can be secured with thumb screws for storage. It proves sturdy and durable in actual use, though the base may slide on tile or hardwood floors. If primarily used on these surfaces, adding anti slip material to the bottom is recommended. I mainly use it on carpeted areas and outdoor walkways/driveways without any modifications.

The quality of this product is surprisingly good. This level of craftsmanship is absolutely worth the time spent assembling it. The packaging was extremely secure, and the item arrived in perfect condition. Assembly was a breeze. They even included an extra screw in case one got lost during assembly. When using it on carpet, I found the footpads aren't essential. The reason I think carpet isn't ideal is that the four round footpads leave marks on the carpet, but oh well, it's a minor flaw that doesn't detract from the overall experience.

As I stood on the bottom step, the stool suddenly tipped over. My three year old daughter was standing on the top step as the stool began to tilt. Had I not braced myself against the bottom step to steady it, she would have been thrown off.

For home use after surgery, making it easy to get in and out of bed; our mattress is exceptionally thick. It works extremely well. With strong load bearing capacity, there's absolutely no need to worry about damage. Includes screws and an Allen wrench for easy assembly in about 10 minutes. All screws tighten effortlessly, and the 90 degree welded joints are manufactured with exceptional precision. Highly recommended.

This is a folding ladder. They can easily tip over. Use with caution, ensuring the ladder feet are firmly planted on the ground. Standing on the top step is not very stable, and I recommend against it.

The assembly of this component is acceptable, but the screws lack lock washers. One screw did come loose from the metal socket, but fortunately it was detected in time and tightened again. This is precisely its weak point the screws secure firmly when fastened to the metal tube. Don't lose your Allen wrench.

I give this product 3 stars because this is my second purchase. The first set rusted and the steps collapsed when used by someone well below the weight limit. I hope it was just a quality issue and this new model will perform better. I admit the frame is sturdy, but it does lean forward.

This step stool is relatively sturdy and offers good value for money. I'd be willing to spend more if the steps were wider. But it's not ideal for my 9 year old daughter，she likes to run up the stairs, and wider steps would improve stability.

I bought another bench to match the one I already had, as it perfectly complements my interior decor style. Unfortunately, the second bench had a manufacturing defect: the threads on the wood panels were too deep, preventing the bolts from engaging properly. This made it impossible to secure the panels to the frame. I tried searching for longer bolts at local hardware stores but couldn't find any suitable ones. While the original bench I purchased remains in perfect condition, this new purchase has been a disappointment.
